Wee Hopes was started when Evan was five. That year, he saw for the first time pictures of the Aetas tribe of the Philippines. Our church was involved in a clothing drive for the tribe, and Evan was determined to help out. For his fourth birthday he asked his friends to bring a bag of clothes to donate instead of toys or other gifts.

Since then, Evan has been seeking ways to help in his local community and the world at large. We found that opportunities for service were limited for his age group. As a result, Wee Hopes was born. Hopefully as time goes on we will be able to share our experiences of where, when and how kids can get involved and make a difference in their world!
